No matter what your age, height, weight or physical appearance, there are thousands of women out there eager to meet you and eager for your company…whether short-term or long-term relationships are what you want. If you have found yourself suddenly “on-the-market” again after a relationship has dissolved or are just too busy with your work to spend a lot of time looking for a lady to keep you company, online dating can open the door to the dating scene for you.
The good news is that all you need is a computer and an internet connection to get started. The first thing to do is find an online dating site that fits your needs. There are the large sites that offer many extras like live video chat and even match you up with ladies using your profiles and, also, a lot of sites that cater to special interests like religious preferences, outdoor enthusiasts, gays, etc. You need to choose one or two that will meet your needs. I don’t recommend the free sites. The paid sites have a money back guarantee if you aren’t satisfied and the investment is small. A whole month costs less than one dinner and movie date.
The next thing you need to do is write a killer, but honest, profile and upload a recent but flattering picture of yourself. Now you are all set. Start contacting ladies whose profiles sound interesting to you and answer any lady who contacts you…and do so promptly…not, however, on holidays or weekends. You don’t want to appear that desperate. Don’t give up after a month and think you will never find the right lady for you. New people join online dating services daily and at least half of them are ladies many, of whom, will want to meet you.
First Thing First
So, now comes the next question. Where do you "cast your fishing rods"? Apparently, you have to cast them into the "water". But hang on, don't just take my word for it. There are lots and lots of so-called professional matchmaking sites out there who are only interested in your money. So be smart. Do your due diligence before committing yourself to any matchmaking service.
Well, here's the good news. Below I have classified some of the reputable companies who have years of experience in the matchmaking and dating business. I list them in the order of preference. No 1 being the best preferred choice.
Here's a tip for you. Always start free. Try and evaluate their services first. If you think that the services are up to your expectation, then and only then you decide for yourself whether it is worthwhile for you to invest your money in their services.
By the way, I will regularly updates this blog with up-to-date tips on dating. So come back often.
Wish you all the best!

Online Dating is Not a Contest
Online dating is not a competition between competing males for the attention of a female. Grow up. Change your mind set from “winning” to “searching”. This isn’t high school. You are all grown up and have been for quite some time, now. Your attitude is the most important asset you have. You should like yourself and not concentrate of all of the things that aren’t YOUR idea of the perfect guy…the one the all women want.
What is that women want, you ask? That’s the age old question. Being of the female persuasion myself, I can tell you a few things women want and don’t want.
Women want a man to be confident…NOT an arrogant jerk. There’s a big difference. You need to like yourself and not be self depreciating but you don’t need to come across like you believe that you are a gift to them from God and have just fallen from the sky. They don’t want you to think that THEY just fell from heaven and are some kind of perfect being, either. They can’t live up to that expectation.
Women want a communicator. The “strong silent type” really isn’t appealing at all. They think you probably don’t have an original thought in your head and you probably haven’t heard a word they said, either or that you just don’t care what they said or didn’t even hear what they said. They want you to be interesting enough to want to know more about you and they want you to think that they are interesting enough to ask intelligent questions about what is important to them, too.
Women do NOT want to be a prize to be won. They don’t want to be a trophy. They want to be the ONE woman that you want to be with.

Online Dating Activities
All types of everyday activities are growing in popularity online these days like sharing photos and greeting cards. In fact, both of these even go hand in hand with online dating opportunities, one of the most popular online activities for singles today.
Before actually meeting in person, many dates get acquainted online first. Here’s how.
Photos - As a wonderful keepsake of your budding romance, create an online photo album for your new cyber-mate. Include digital photos of favorite outdoor scenes, pets, flowers, cars, silly moments, your computer corner or laptop, etc. Then you’ll even have more to discuss during online dates via emails and chat rooms. Search for “photo albums” to find places that store your photos.
Greeting Cards- Regardless of where the person lives, you can mail a greeting card. If privacy and security is an issue, check into renting an inexpensive P.O. Box (check the Yellow Pages). You do not have to be an artist to make something homemade and special for the new friend in your life. Even making a special, personalized greeting card would be appreciated and show your date that you care enough to take the time needed to make something by hand. Search your favorite search engine for online greeting cards to send, too. They range from free to low cost and can be sent in a click.
So get online and get active! No need to risk meeting in person until you get more familiar with each other online first. So take the online plunge!

Online Dating Can Be Tough
Here’s a little secret that those of the female persuasion keep from us guys: Women, even very beautiful women, like to be approached by a confident and interesting man. Are you surprised? It’s true…and confident and interesting are much more important than looks to ladies of all ages, too. That’s true for internet dating, as well as, dating in your brick and mortar world but we’re talking about internet dating here…so back to the subject at hand.
Once you have joined an online dating service, you will find that there a lot more men than women and that the men are much more likely to browse profiles and make initial contacts than women. Yes, it’s a woman’s world…still. It’s “traditional” for men to make the first move. It always has been and it always will be. Some things never change. That’s why your profile and picture are so important.
Remember…confident and interesting….and that does not translate to cocky and self-centered. It’s important that your profile lets people know that you have friends you care about and that you are passionately interested in a variety of things…not JUST sports. Another thing about that all-important profile….please don’t start it with, “I’m the guy your mama warned you about”.
You will have just shot yourself in the foot with that line. Another one to never use is, “I could be the man of your dreams”. The lady HOPES you are but she will be the judge of that…so don’t insult her intelligence. Remember….exude confidence and interesting and you will find that lady you have been looking for…or she will find you.
Won’t it be nice to have the ladies contacting you instead of you having to do everything? If you write a great profile that stands out in the crowd, that will happen.

Nice Guys Do It, Too!
I’m talking about online dating, of course. When the phenomenon of online dating sites started several years ago, they were a haven for perverts, sexual predators, nerds, and weirdoes of assorted varieties.
That is just no longer the case. All the stigma of online dating is gone. Online dating has gone main stream and is, not only acceptable, but expected. Online dating has become the primary tool of single people of all ages to generate an interesting and rewarding social life.
Let’s face it…we are busy guys. We just simply do not have the time, the energy, or the financial where-with-all to date several nights each week while we look for the “one”. You can sort through hundreds of profiles in a month for less money than you would spend on one evening out, thus, saving time and money. We use the internet to save ourselves time and money for a lot of things like investments, shopping, medical information, and communications.
Why not make use of such a useful tool for our social and personal lives as well? You could find the love of your life. At the very least, you will meet some interesting people and possibly make some lasting friendships. It’s easy to get started. All you need is a computer and an internet connection. You’ll need to search for online dating services that meet your specific needs. They are many and varied.
Join one or two. Then you’ll need to write a great profile, upload a recent picture of yourself and start making and answering contacts. That really is all there is to it…that and patience.
Don’t wait any longer to start your new and interesting social life. Miss or Ms. “Right” could be only a few clicks of the mouse away.

A Man's Secrets to Successful Online Dating
People have taken to online dating like a duck takes to water…because it works…or, at least, it can work. Women are, in general, terrified of meeting a man that she has been chatting with online. All they have heard about are the scary things that can happen…and, I must say, they have a right to be careful to the extreme. That’s not only wise but vital. So what’s a nice guy to do? You aren’t a pervert, a sexual predator, or a weirdo. You are just a nice guy looking for “the” girl for you.
You must be patient. Don’t press her for personal information like her real name or where she lives. Keep your conversations light and fun until she feels comfortable talking with you online. Don’t try to rush her into meeting face-to-face. She will think you are desperate or a pervert. Patience. Patience. Patience.
Be absolutely honest about your physical appearance and job. A good relationship has never been, and will never be, built on lies and deceit. Eventually she will find out the truth anyway and there you are back at square one.
A picture really is worth a thousand words. Post many pictures of yourself doing your everyday activities and make them full body shots, not just head shots. If you were dating a girl in the real world she wouldn’t just see your head.
Once the discussion has been opened about meeting face-to-face for the first time, suggest that you meet in a very public place, during daylight hours and that she bring a friend with her. After all, you have nothing to hide. You’ve told her the truth about yourself and she has already seen a lot of pictures of you. The only thing left is to make her feel safe meeting you.

Ask the Right Questions First
OK. You have joined a couple of dating services and written a killer profile. You’ve uploaded a good picture and now you are going to chat with a contact. What now? How do you start separating those who have real potential and those who don’t have any potential at all? You need to find out something about who this strange woman really is and not just who she wants you to believe she is. It would be nice if women wore labels like “Gold Digger” or “Daddy’s girl”….but they don’t so it’s up to you to find these things out and you can’t just ask direct questions. You need to know what mistakes you can avoid making and how to impress this lady if you decide you want to do that.
After you are past the initial small talk, ask her, “What are the biggest mistakes guys make when dating online?” Listen carefully to her answers. She’s going to tell you a lot about herself and her views on men in general.
Next you should ask her, “What do you really think about online dating?” Now she will tell you if she has had any bad experiences dating o line and help you to avoid making the same things wrong.
Now for the all-important one…..”What caused the break up in your last relationship?” If she puts all the blame on the guy, you should probably move on to the next prospect. If she takes all the blame herself, you should probably do the same. If she says the breakup was by mutual consent or that the relationship just wasn’t right for either of them, you’ve heard the right answer. Move forward but always with caution.
Asking the right questions will give you insight and make you more confident when you meet the lady for the first time.

Popular Online Dating Activities For Men
Heads up, gents. Online dating can open up new doors of opportunities with a little help from real world dating tips that work. Spice up your matchmaking with some of these ideas.
Looks Count
Comment on how attractive she is. Yes, women do want to know they are pretty, even if they’re online and you can’t see them and have no idea. So in your communications, ask questions that would help you know, but in an unobtrusive way like – how do you wear your hair? And then say how attractive that must look.
Kindness Counts
Point out nice things or the lemonade in life – nice things the other person has mentioned, nice acts the person has done, good things on the news latterly, etc. Be upbeat, and forget those lemons in life. Even in email a person can shout, by using all capital letters. So show manners and kindness. Keep swearing, unkind remarks, prejudice, etc. out of your communications. And “do unto others….”
So add some helpful real-world tips that do work (a lot of the time anyway) into your online dating equations. And come up on the positive side of romance – and enjoy more lemonade!

More Popular Online Dating Activities
A couple of popular online activities are sharing recipes and bidding at auctions. And both of these easily fit well into online dating opportunities, one of the most popular online activities for singles today.
To help many dates get better acquainted online, here’s what potential cyber-dates do.
Sharing Recipes – People get tired talking about the weather. So a popular subject to turn to is food. Sharing favorite foods and recipes helps break the ice and even forms friendships over culinary skills – or lack of – and tastes. Search your favorite search engine for “free recipes” to share. Take photos of your culinary creations and share them with your date, too.
Bidding at Auctions – Ebay auctions sell nearly anything and everything! So surf around and enter searches like the dates you were in middle school. Share cool memorabilia photos of old games and toys from when you were a child or when your parents or grandparents were little; The Dating Game, Oscar Mayer wiener whistles, The Partridge Family Album, Bobby Sherman’s Album, 45’s and more.
Online dating can be an educational and fun experience. So learn more about each other and have fun while you’re at it. Take a cyber-stroll down memory lane together and see what’s cookin’.

Growing Online Dating Relationships
Just like regular real-world relationships, online relationships need tending, to grow over time. Here are some quick growing tips.
1. Take time and make time. Does your online date get in touch with you regularly? Do you do the same? Neglecting virtual meetings can be considered abuse or neglect, so treat each other’s time with respect. If it’s lacking, might mean time to move on.
2. Communication needs to “feel” right for both of you. If one of you is too pushy about meeting, for instance, that can give off bad vibes. So don’t rush. Take time to learn more about each other and develop trust.
3. Respect each others privacy. Don’t share personal email addresses or digital photos online, for example, if your online date sent you the information in confidence.
4. Share special online and offline fun times. Online – send greeting cards, links to favorite places to upload digital photos of your favorite pet, download music and video clips, post on favorite forums of interest. Offline- if you’re exchanging addresses or post office boxes, send print greeting cards and postcards, small items from your area (like a key chain with your state bird).
Tend your online relationship. Water it with care and over time it can sprout and grow.

Online Relationships - Dating Advice
When you feel like nobody who lives near you will do when it comes to dating, the good news is that there is a whole world of people out there waiting to meet you! Online dating has become very popular because it takes the stress out of dating and makes it easy to meet people from all over the world. Below you will find some online relationship dating advice that will help you get started.
The first piece of online relationship dating advice is to join several dating sites. Many of them are free and by joining several of them you will have access to a wider variety of people who may share your interests.
Fill out your profile thoroughly. Make sure to fill in all of your interests as well as your likes and dislikes when it comes to the opposite sex. This will help you ensure that you are only attracting the right type of people to your profile, and not people that you wouldn't normally date. Be honest in your profile.
When talking to people, it is important that you be yourself. You don't want to give someone the wrong impression in case you do end up having feelings with this person and wanting to meet face to face. Don't lie about your age, gender, job, appearance, or anything else when you are dating online.
Ask plenty of questions to the people you speak with. This is the only way you will get to know them properly, so make sure that you ask all of the questions that really matter to you in a relationship.
Online relationship dating advice doesn't end here, but this should be a good beginning of what you should be doing when you are meeting people on the Internet. Keep an open mind and someone you can love is sure to come along.

Picking Up Women - Reading Body Language
With the confidence and the correct approach it won't really matter if she is interested in you or not, you can always fix that. But, some guys just can't read the signs that are often clear as a bell, if you know what to look for.
I am a watcher. A watcher of people and the way they move, the way they interact with people. It's a lot of fun to watch the exchanges in a bar between a man and a woman. With the little tell tale body language signs below you can watch as I do and know if the guy has a shot or not.
Lips:
• Huge radiant smiles with her teeth on display
• Lip biting or if she lets you see her tongue, licking of the lips or touching the front teeth
• Wetting her lips, either upper or lower it doesn't matter
• This may sound odd but if she puts her fingernail between her teeth
• Thrusting her breasts and lips forward
Eyes:
• Gazing deep into your eyes with dilated pupils
• An eyebrow raise for a few seconds followed by a smile with eye contact
• Winking. Either while talking with you or from a distance
• Blinking more often than usual and flittering her eyelashes
• Raising and then lowering her eyebrows followed by a smile
Hair:
• Brushing her fingers through her hair
• While looking at you, she twirls her hair around her finger
• Tossing her hair back off of her shoulders
Clothing:
• A little more than normal leg exposure
• If she adjust her clothing to make sure she looks perfect
Seated:
• She dances in her seat while making eye contact
• You notice while sitting up that her muscles appear to be firm
• If she sits with her legs open
• Exposing some thigh while sitting with her legs crossed
Hands:
• An exposed palm of her hand facing you
• Resting an elbow in the palm of her hand while talking to you and holder out the other hand palm facing up
• Rubbing her wrists up and down
• While sitting, if she has one hand touching on of her breasts
• If she touches her cheek or rubs her chin
• Her hands are busily playing with items on the table or in her hand
• Stroking and pulling on her necklace if she is wearing one
• If she touches you while speaking
• As you pass by her she pretends to look at her watch
Voice:
• Raising or lowering her voice volume to match your own
• Slowing down or speeding up her speaking to match your own
• Laughing when you are laughing
• While in a crowd she only has her eyes on you and disregards the rest of the room

Dating Tips For Shy Guys - Take Control of Your Life
The first thing that you really need to understand is that its not unnatural to be shy. Everyone, even the most extroverted guys often suffer from shyness or embarrassment even if they don't make it obvious. People often think that I'm being harsh when I give out dating tips for shy guys, but that's never my intention. You see, sometimes you need to give out a bit of tough love to shy people. I know, because I used to be incredibly shy until I met someone who's become a firm friend and they gave me the same advice I'm giving you now. Basically, everyone has the ability within them to be outgoing and confident, but sometimes its hard to let that break of through their outer defenses. And very often shyness is just that - a defense mechanism.
Shyness is often seen as a sign of weakness and neediness, but most of the time that's a complete misconception. Unfortunately, many women don't see this, when they see a shy guy, they perceive someone who's weak and a bit of a pathetic creature. But that's not you right? Of course its not, so you need to put them straight.
One good indicator of shyness is a guys body language, often it can look weak. One of my major tips for shy guys is to adjust your posture. Its old advice but its sound advice, don't slouch, straighten up, look people in the eye. Don't be afraid to walk proud and talk with authority, if you project a feeling of strength women will respect that.
Next, be more confident and assertive. You don't need to start ordering people about, most women hate that in any case, and don't become aggressive. Bizarrely, being outwardly aggressive can actually make you seem weaker, not stronger - just think 'small man syndrome' and you will understand what I mean.
The last of my tips for shy guys is to become more confident. Do things on a daily basis that you know you are good at, no matter how small or insignificant they may seem. This will build your self belief. Every once in a while tackle something you are uncomfortable with, when you succeed in this new task, your confidence will take a huge leap. Remember, practice makes perfect.
Just get out there and start taking control of situations. Women will adore you for this and respect you immensely, and this in turn will make you feel better. After all success breeds success as they say.

Online Dating - 10 Rules Everyone Should Know
Online dating is an exciting frontier, filled with possibilities around every corner - but before you begin returning those enticing emails, there are 10 rules you should abide by.
Your love life may be stalled for a number of reasons. A recently ended relationship might leave you stranded with a condensed social circle and feelings of loneliness. You might have experienced a recent change, like a divorce, graduating from college, or moving to a new city. No matter what the circumstance, it is hard to meet new people. Enter the world of online dating - full of variety, spice, and excitement. If you're new to the online dating scene, there are several things that everyone should know.
1. Plan ahead
Are you looking to just spend some time entertaining yourself in chat rooms? Looking for someone to hang out with on the weekends? Seeking a one night stand? Trying to find Mr. or Ms. Right? Determine your goals for online dating and stick to them - otherwise you might hurt the feelings of others or find yourself scraping up the pieces of another failed relationship.
2. Ask your friends
Online dating and chat rooms are standard tools for people of all walks of life looking for love or a little fun. Ask your friends what sites have worked for them in the past. Trust the opinions of those you already know rather than choosing a service at random.
3. Start slow
You may need to spend some time in chat rooms, email correspondence, or even via the telephone before you feel comfortable enough to meet someone. Take your time - there is no rush! Enjoy the process and embrace the excitement.
4. Tell the truth!
If you really want to experience success with online dating, you must be honest. While you cannot control the actions of others, maintaining accountability to yourself will thwart the temptation to attach someone else's picture to your profile or lie about your past.
5. Organize and prioritize
Online dating can be overwhelming. It's a lot easier to browse profiles of individuals that you know are looking for a relationship than to strike up a conversation with someone at the bar. Choose a few of the most interesting profiles, take notes, and limit yourself to corresponding with them at first. You can always look again if they don't work out, and this will avoid too much activity and confusing emotions.
6. Don't believe everything you see or read
If he or she sounds too good to be true, it's very possible that you're looking at a bad egg. Take your time getting to know someone. Check their story. If you have arrived to the point where personal information has been revealed, there are ways you can verify details. If a person claims they work at the local community college, you can check the phone directory for their name. Public record is a valuable resource!
7. Chat room etiquette
That old adage "if you can't say anything nice, don't say anything at all" still applies to online dating. Chat rooms often give people a sense of invincibility. When the fingers start flying, things tend to move fast and have the potential to get steamy. Stop. Think. If you wouldn't say it to a complete stranger face-to-face, don't say it at all.
8. Paying for an online dating service might not be so bad
Websites that charge for entering chat rooms or making an online dating profile may turn you off at first glance. You might feel embarrassed or afraid to shell out hard earned money to a dating website; however, you can rest assured that if someone is willing to make the investment it costs to participate in online dating circles, it's possible that they are very serious and willing to go the extra mile for you!
9. Be available
Don't have access to the internet everyday? This might cause problems in the online dating world. Those who try this method of socialization like to think they'll receive quick responses. Be available, consider setting aside a specific time to spend in the chat room, and respond to emails in a timely fashion. Otherwise, you might find your potentials losing interest.
10. Safety first, second, and third
When you've gathered your confidence and found somebody you want to meet face-to-face, remember that you don't know what to expect. Meet in a public place. Drive your own car so that you can maintain control of your environment, and leave if you feel uncomfortable. Even if the first date leads to a second, or third, keep in mind that you've only just met, and there is no need to rush.

Expert Tips For Great Dating Ideas
First date ideas
1. The most important part of a first date is getting to know each other. Plan your date in a way so the environment allows for easy conversation. Don't arrange your first date where there is a noisy atmosphere such as a night club, pub or concert.
2. Arrange to meet somewhere where you are the focus. If your first date is focused on an event where there are distractions, neither of you will get the chance to assess each others true personality. Give yourself the best chance to show off your charm and wisdom.
3. When you are dating someone for the first time, make sure its during the day. A non pressured environment like a quiet park or the beach will work just fine.
Moving onto a second date.
4. So, your first date was fabulous and your already planning your next date. Now is the time to introduce some intimacy and a sexier atmosphere. The local wine bar and dinner will give any potential romance the chance to unfold.
5. Make sure when your dating someone for the second time its done at night. A romantic evening opens the door to intimacy, flirting, and all going well, a kiss at the end of the night.
Perfect second date: Friday night after a long week at work will ensure you both look forward to each others company after hitting it off on your first date. A Boost for Dating Serices in Malaysia
Malaysia government is officially asking NGOs to launch dating or cupid services for single women so that single mothers can find suitable partners. This idea was mooted by Malaysia’s Women, Family and Community Development Minister Shahrizat Abdul Jalil recently.
According to her, the ministry is not going to setup cupid or dating services but she sees no problem in supporting such idea because it does not go against the customs or religious beliefs.
I just hope this is not a one-person idea but a collective idea from the government as a whole. Sharizat might be an open-minded and liberal woman but she needs to work extra hard to win support from her subordinates when presenting idea which is quite a contrary to the general norms in Malaysia.

5 Traits That Women Look For in Men
This is the question that has been putting men in anxiety for generations. The answer to this question might not be very easy to find. But look no further. Here are a few things that they want in their man.
Confidence
This is the most important trait that women look for in men. Would you like to go out with someone who has no self confidence? I don't think so. Neither would any lady. So buck up, take charge and try to be cool and confident. But remember not to overdo it.
Sense of Humor
Being shallow and colorless really won't help you. So get those funny bones in gear or else you're going to bore her to death the entire time. And you don't really want to do that, do you?
Attention
Now this isn't asking for much. If you were talking with a lady and she didn't really bother to listen to what you were saying, would you feel very good? I'm sure the answer would be no. So it's important not to do the same to her.
Listen, converse and continue with a conversation. Don't turn the conversation into one about the weather. Talk about something interesting, something that the both of you like.
Respect
Treat her as your equal not as a "woman". Respect her for who she is. Don't try and point out her mistakes or try and tell her what you think she should be like. That sends out a negative vibe.
Loyalty and Faithfulness
The most important and for some men the most difficult part of a relationship is to be faithful and trustworthy. You need to show her that she really means a lot to you and that she can trust you a hundred per cent. Always try not to lie in a relationship.
So now you know what ladies actually look for. Try to acquire these qualities and work on them. This will really take you a long way in a relationship. After all every woman wants a man with a good character and a man who is a good human being.
Next you will want to know how to approach a woman and start dating right now.
